Until Next Year...

It's been a great fall with the Delaware County community, celebrating Latino Americans: 500 Years of History and The Book of Unknown Americans by Cristina Henríquez.

We heard many of you comment that the book and documentary series "tell the individual stories of the Latino people in a beautiful way" and that "it should be required reading for every American citizen."

We saw more than 70 of you at our film screenings, 50 at our book groups, 80 at our family programs, and 150 at our other adult programs - including Cristina Henríquez's visit!

The Book of Unknown Americans was checked out from the Library more than 550 times!

We're so grateful to the community for your support of our annual DelawaREADS community read. We couldn't have done it this year without the help of our community partners: The Strand Theatre, Ohio Wesleyan University, Ashland University, Fundamentals Parent-Teacher Store, Main Street Delaware, Central Ohio Symphony, Meijer, Buehler's and Walmart.

Thank you and we'll see you again next year!
